I’m Cathy Hearne, a Registered Osteopath with over 20 years of experience helping people move more freely and live with less pain.

After establishing and running a successful practice in Heathfield, East Sussex for 21 years, I relocated to West Wales and now practise in Newcastle Emlyn. Throughout my career, my focus has always been the same — providing thoughtful, individualised care to support each patient’s health and wellbeing.

I trained at the British School of Osteopathy in London (now the Health Sciences University), the UK’s oldest osteopathic college. My approach is primarily structural, using joint articulation, soft tissue techniques and, where appropriate, gentle joint manipulation. I also offer more subtle techniques, including cranial and gentle unwinding approaches, which are particularly suitable for older patients or those with underlying health conditions.

Originally from Guernsey, I feel very at home in West Wales and am proud to be part of the local community here.
